Contracts & Scheduling Coordinator
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts & Scheduling Coordinator to support both contract administration and project scheduling functions on construction projects. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys collaborating with project teams, managing critical documentation, and helping drive successful project execution from preconstruction through completion.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting contract administration, subcontractor compliance, project scheduling, and overall project controls efforts within a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Administration Support
Assist with the preparation, issuance, and execution of subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
Review subcontract documents for completeness and ensure all required exhibits are included.
Track contract execution status and maintain contract logs.
Coordinate the collection and verification of subcontractor insurance certificates, bonds, and related documentation.
Maintain electronic contract files and document management systems.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of subcontract change orders.
Support project teams with contract correspondence, notices, and project documentation.
Project Scheduling Support
Assist in developing baseline project schedules during preconstruction and project startup.
Support periodic schedule updates through coordination with project teams.
Generate look-ahead schedules and short-term planning reports.
Assist in preparing schedule narratives and progress reports.
Support change management activities, claims, and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs).
Maintain scheduling records, documentation, and project controls files.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in the construction industry with emphasis on construction management, project engineering, scheduling, or project controls.
Ability to understand construction documents and develop scopes of work.
Knowledge of general construction practices and federal government contracting requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support several projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of scheduling software is a plus.
Design-Build project experience is preferred.
